POLICIES

Booking Policy: All appointments are booked directly through me. To book an appointment, please call or text: 720-299-3581 and I will be more than happy to get your appointment set up for you. A $50 non refundable deposit is required for all Full Sets/Foreign Fills. No refunds will be granted for any lash services or deposits. However, deposits are transferable (one time only) in the case you may need to reschedule, if my schedule has the flexibility. Deposits are not eligible for transfer if the rescheduling/cancellation policy is violated. Deposit transfers can only be applied towards lash services. Once your deposit is paid, your appointment will be confirmed. 


Late Arrival Policy: If you are running late to your appointment, it's kindly asked that you reach out through phone call or text to prevent your appointment from being released due to the assumption that you will not be showing up. Every client is given a 10 minute grace period. If you are more than 10 minutes late, a $15 late fee will be applied. I will do my best to accommodate you, but reserve the right to reschedule your appointment If I'm unable to. Please keep in mind, my appointments are booked back to back, and showing up late will result in cutting into my next clients appointment. In the case your appointment may need to be rescheduled, Marvel Beauty reserves the right to charge a same day cancellation fee to the card on file totaling to 100% of the scheduled service(s). My services can't be rushed - Please plan accordingly. 


Cancellation Policy: I understand unforeseen events happen and things come up and you may need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. However, a 72 hour notice is required so I can adjust my schedule and accommodate other clients. Please understand my time has to be protected. Marvel Beauty reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee to the card on file totaling to 50-100% of the scheduled service(s) for appointments that are rescheduled or cancelled within 72 hours of your scheduled appointment.


Same Day Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy: Please keep in mind, it's difficult to fill appointments and readjust my schedule last minute as other clients have already planned their schedules around their set appointment time. In addition, due to limited availability at times, clients have to wait for longer periods of time to get an appointment. If they are given notice well in advance regarding availability, they could've filled your appointment slot. Therefore, Marvel Beauty reserves the right to charge a same day cancellation/rescheduling fee to the card on file totaling to 100% of the scheduled service(s) for those who cancel or reschedule the day of their appointment, as this is treated like a "No Show". Consistent same day rescheduling/cancellations will result in client termination. Please plan ahead. 


No Show Policy: Marvel Beauty reserves the right to charge a no show fee to the card on file totaling to 100% of the scheduled service for those who do not show up to their appointment. You will no longer be allowed to book with Marvel Beauty in the future and will be terminated as a client. No refunds will be granted. 


Confirmation Policy: It is your responsibility to keep up with your appointments. If you prebook your appointment(s) in advance,  please make note of these dates and times in your calendars to avoid last minute cancellations and/or rescheduling. Consistent cancellations or rescheduling will result in not being eligible to prebook moving forward. You will receive a text confirmation from myself the day before your appointment. You must reply and acknowledge this text as it's a form of confirmation for your appointment. If you fail to do so, your appointment and all prebooked appointments may be cancelled and treated as a no show. *Please send messages to my personal phone only during business hours. Monday-Friday 8am-8pm. Weekends: CLOSED. 


Foreign Fill Policy: I do accept foreign fills and do not require a removal with booking a full set. However, I am unaware of the condition of your natural lashes until I consult with you, and start your service. Incorrect isolation, overuse of adhesive, heavy lashes, long lengths, etc. are all issues I will have to correct in order to get your natural lashes back to a healthy condition in the case any of the above conditions are present. Therefore, all foreign fills start at $120. You are required to have 50% of lashes or more at the time of your appointment, or a Full Set will be charged. In the case I'm unable to work with the condition of your current lashes, a full set will be charged.


Children/Guest policy: Please, no children or guest in the treatment room. Eyelash extensions take extensive concentration and require precision, so I kindly ask that there are no distractions in the room. Estheticians and Lash artists work closely with hot wax, extremely sharp tweezers, etc. resulting in serious liability and potential risks by having your child(ren) in the room. Marvel Beauty reserves the right to reschedule/cancel any appointments in the event children are present and the policy stated above is violated. Please keep in mind, Marvel Beauty's cancellation policy may take effect in regards to this matter. 


Makeup/Skincare Products Policy: Please thoroughly remove all makeup and skin care products before arriving to your lash appointment. Eyes must be clean and oil free upon arrival, or a $15 make up removal fee will be added. Please refrain from using eye cream, moisturizer, sunscreen, etc. prior to your appointment, as this will result in the tape and eye pads not being able to stick or stay in place. Please keep in mind, I am unable to properly adhere semi-permanent lash extensions on lashes that have make up, residue build up, or skin care products near the eye area. I want to ensure maximum bonding and retention for your lash extensions so once again, I kindly ask that you please arrive with thoroughly clean lashes and no make up or skin care products on your face. 


Age Policy: Clients must be at least 16 years or older to be eligible to receive services with Marvel Beauty. If client is under the age of 16 years old, it's required that they are to be accompanied by an adult in the treatment room until their service is completed. Please note, Clients under the age of 16 years old, are not eligible for lash extension services. Minors under the age of 18 years old, are required to have signed parental consent in order to receive services with Marvel Beauty.


Cell Phone Policy: I ask that cell phones please be silenced in the treatment room. If you are receiving a lash service, please do not open your eyes to check your device until your service is completed, as I am using sharp tweezers, adhesive, and other items/products near the delicate eye area. this could potentially cause irritation to the eyes during and/or after your service. 


Pre-Authorized card and fees: All clients are required to have a card on file with Marvel Beauty. With the card provided, Marvel Beauty reserves the right to charge any fees that are owed due to the violation of any policies stated above. Please note, If payment transaction fails, you will not be able to book future appointments with Marvel Beauty until fees that are owed are paid in full. You will also be required to prepay for all services in full prior to your appointment moving forward. 


Accepted forms of payments: Card, Cash, Zelle, Apple Pay, CashApp. *If you use more than one card at checkout, a processing fee will be applied. Outside of cash, all payments must be processed through the square terminal. 


Privacy/Social Media Policy: Marvel Beauty is committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of its clients and users of this site. Marvel Beauty acknowledges the importance of privacy to its clients. 

Information Marvel Beauty may collect from you are the following: First name, last name, phone number, email address, birthday, credit card information (to be held on file), health conditions, and skin conditions. Any information Marvel Beauty collects from you is to personalize your experience, and improve customer service. Client profiles are set up through Square and credit card information is secured within their site. Once a card is saved on file, you will receive an email confirmation for your reassurance. All card payments and electronic transactions made with Marvel Beauty are processed through Square. All client consultation forms are locked and secured and not disclosed to anyone but the client, and myself. All social media content is approved by the client and will never be posted without consent. Here at Marvel Beauty your privacy and safety comes first, and will always remain top priority. 

LASH FILL POLICY

Fill Policy: 

  • Prebooking in advance is highly recommended to ensure you are keeping up with your fills. I Kindly ask that you please do not wait last minute to book as availability is often limited.You may prebook as far out as one month in advance only. It is your responsibility to make note of your prebooked appointments to prevent last minute rescheduling/cancellations.
  • Mandatory - you must have at least 50% of lashes remaining in order to be considered a fill.
  • If you are missing 50% or more of your lashes, please consult with me prior to your appointment, or you will be asked to reschedule and book a full set upon arrival. Please understand that Fills and Full Sets vary in price and time.
  • Lash fills are eligible to book one to three weeks after your initial full set or last fill. After three weeks, a full set is required. Non negotiable. 
  • Frequency of fills and retention varies from person to person and is based on your own personal natural lash growth/shed cycle, and maintenance of lashes. Marvel Beauty is not responsible for any issues that are not reported within 3 days post service. no refunds will be granted for any lash service.
  • Any questions, concerns, or issues regarding your lash extensions needs to be reported within 1-3 days following your appointment. Any issue reported within three days post service will be fixed at no additional cost. 


Additional Information:

  • Side effects/Sensitive Eyes: Redness and irritation are temporary side effects to lash extensions. If you have sensitive eyes, you may experience redness, irritation, watery eyes, and  burning post service. These symptoms will subside within 1-3 days and will gradually get better over time as your eyes adjust and gets used to the adhesive and having lash extensions. if symptoms persist after 3 days, please consult with me so I can evaluate the situation. 
  • Seasonal lash shed: Please keep in mind during Spring and Fall when the climate changes, our lashes shed at a quicker rate and you may experience more fall out than normal. Lashes may look thinner than normal due to shedding. this is temporary and will last four to six weeks. You are always welcome to bring your fills in closer to help alleviate this issue. 
  • Natural lash growth cycle: Due to different cultures and ethnic backgrounds, hormones, etc., please keep in mind that everyone has different hair growth cycles and no one is the same. Some clients may need fills every 1-2 weeks, 2-4 weeks, or 4-6 weeks. Retention is different and varies from each person. Taking very good care of your lashes and keeping them clean is promising for ensuring  maximum retention.
  • Allergies: Clients that experience seasonal allergies will see quicker fall out at times due to inflammation around the eye area. You are always welcome to bring your fills in closer, or simply take a break from lashes until your symptoms settle down.
  • Oily lids:  Some clients may have oilier skin than others and that's totally normal, as we all have different skin types. If you happen to fall under this skin type, its highly recommended that you pat your lids dry daily to prevent quicker fall out as oil weakens the adhesive bond resulting in fall out.
  • Contacts: Please take out your contacts before your lash service as this can result in irritation and redness. 
  • Allergic reactions: THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT! At times, clients may know of an allergy, or it can be built up over time. If you are experiencing swelling, puffy eyes, discharge, or anything that looks or feels alarming, please contact me ASAP and I will provide you with a lash removal service free of cost. Your health and safety is always top priority to me.
  • Caffeine: Please refrain from drinking coffee or any caffeine based beverages prior to your appointment, as this will cause fluttering and excessive movement of the eyes. when eyes flutter, adhesive fumes travel and this may cause redness, irritation, and burning, and may also slow down the process from finishing your lashes on time. 
  • Facials/Spray Tans: It's highly recommended to avoid facials and spray tans for 48-72 hours post service. Due to products being used and residue, you may experience rapid fall out. Please let your service provider know that you have lash extensions so they can take extra precaution to care for your lashes. 
  • Sleeping on face: Sleeping on your face is the quickest way to damage your natural lashes and cause retention issues. Please refrain from sleeping on your face.
